Our activities include Plant Breeding, Seed Production and Marketing. MbeuGenes understands and responds to the needs of smallholder farmers. While maize is the most important part of our business, MbeuGenes also conducts successful breeding, seed production and marketing activities in bambara and groundnut. This is important in order to enable smallholder farmers to diversify their crops, and thereby increase food and nutrition security at the household level.
